Pier 60 is in Clearwater Beach, just a few mins drive from my AirBnB. There is a Sunset Festival every night, two hours before and 2 hours after sunset. (Weather permitting) Witness an amazing sunset with performing artists that will dazzle you with magic, juggling and acrobatic performances. Then walk the pier at night for local vendors selling very unique products that make for a great souvenir. During the day, the pier is great for just walking or fishing. There are two kids playgrounds and many hosted events thru out the year. Pier 60 is entertaining for the whole family and never disappoints!!!

Pier 60 features a 1,080-foot fishing pier and recreational park, with a bait house, telescopes and six covered pavilions. The Pier 60 bait house offers a complete line of fishing tackle, T-shirts, souvenirs, drinks and snacks, as well as rental equipment, a full line of bait and a staff that is knowledgeable and eager to assist. The most common fish that can be caught include Spanish mackerel, spotted and silver trout, snook, redfish, tarpon, sheepshead, snappers, flounder, jacks and many more depending on the season. One of the reasons Pier 60 is such a popular spot for anglers is its many lights, which make it ideal for night fishing. Parents (and kids) will love the well-equipped playground, one of largest beach playgrounds on the Gulf, which provides hours of fun for the little ones. "Sunsets at Pier 60," a Clearwater Beach tradition, offers a variety of crafts and entertainment from 6 - 9 p.m. each night. The beautiful view of the sunset makes for a perfect way to celebrate the end of the day. The park also features restrooms and is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 364 days of the year.

Pier 60 is ideally located on world-renowned sparkling Clearwater Beach. It is one of the best-equipped and most attractive fishing piers in Florida. Pier 60 offers access to fishing activities, fine dining, shopping, entertainment and outstanding white sandy beaches.
