If you enjoy authentic Mexican cuisine, you should definitely try Los 4 Mariachis, formally Claudia’s. Claudia, the owner, has been a household name for years. She did catering from home. Catering meant stopping by her house to pick up a grocery bag full of her famous hot, foil wrapped tamales. With the help of her son, she eventually purchased her own taco truck. After a few successful years in the truck, she now has a very successful restaurant in Spruce Pine. I still see the truck around but for a nice dine-in experience, the restaurant offers all of her specials and more. I not only appreciate Claudia’s street tacos, but I also appreciate her story of success. Claudia’s story is an inspiration to women, minorities and entrepreneurs throughout the community.
