Technically a bar, I added this to the arts and culture section because of the excellent stream of live music that is always flowing through this venue. Nestled among Buffalo's old silos, it offers several comfortable indoor and outdoor spaces to explore. Walks along the paths outside will take you to a huge oak tree in a small clearing, which would be blissfully idyllic for a small picnic. The cocktails are excellent, and the beers and snacks are kept very reasonably priced. Vegetarians and meat lovers alike should try the excellent eggplant wings!

A bar in the center of silo city. There's an outdoor cantina style space in summer months. If you're interested in the grain silos of the Old First Ward neighborhood, this place is a must see. Be sure to check the hours.

Duende is a bar, restaurant, and event space at Silo City in the historic grain elevator district. It is very cool and a unique place to check out for sure.
