Mactan Shrine is located on Mactan Island, just of the coast from Cebu City. It is a must-see for everyone who are interested in Filipino history.

The first Hero of the Philippines, Lapu-lapu. The monument of Lapu-lapu is one of the tourist attractions in the island of Mactan. There gift shops, and local food venue to visit.

This place is considered to be epic for this is the battle gound for the fight between Magellan and Lapu lapu. Although there are historians who would disagree of the claim for there were no proofs or artifacts that suggested so. But still this place is considered historic and put forward the idea that foreign invasion is a great No No...And we the native LapuLapu people are brave and we fight for our rigts. Phew....okay i should stop now...
