Montjuic Park in Barcelona is a large area for kids to explore - an 18th century castle with commanding views of the Mediterranean, shady gardens with cooling fountains, a museum chock full of fabulous paintings and sculptures by Joan Miro, playgrounds and picnic areas (so bring a picnic lunch and relax outdoors).

Great views from the Castle of the sea and city. If you're really adventurous you can walk out the door of flat and arrive at the Castle- it would take at least one hour. Nice to explore the gardens and olympic park

My favorite place for AMAZING views of Barcelona. Montjuic is a mountain right in the city, where you will find an old fortress and beautiful surrounding nature.
