A fun rainy day trip. This museum is small, but worth the trip.

A visit to the Woods Hole Aquarium is a must - with our without kids. Visit the seals in their outside pool. Learn about marine life from the very accessible exhibits inside. Stroll down quaint Water Street and see WHOI, research ships, statue of Rachel Carson on the waterfront, art galleries, and coffee/ice cream shops. Rain or shine, a perfect day.

This is a free aquarium sponsored by the federal agency NOAA's Northeast Fisheries Science Center. It small, but the fish are amazing. The upstairs area has a hands on tank for the kids (young and old). The aquarium has a new seal they are nursing back to good health and may be ready for visitors by summer.
