Because it is a popular terrace in the centre and in the winter they have heaters and blankets so you can watch the skaters on the canal. They have got good Thai food.

A lot of internationals go to this place, especially on the wednesday nights. Cheap food and nice to sit outside in winter and in summer. Best view of one of the main historic canals.

The bars and restaurants alongside the 'Nieuwe Rijn' canal, all have terras-boats. On a Sunny day, watching the boats cruise by, refreshing drink in hand: best thing ever!
