An excellent half-day experience - and it's free of charge! Go underground with an ex-miner for your guide and learn all about the industry for which Wales was so famous. Gives a real taste of what a working day was like, without being too claustrophobic. We've visited many times.

This is an absolutely brilliant museum. The tour is amazing and there are several buildings above ground to explore. A great day out.
