CP's fav Texas bbq, hands down. This would be a 45-60 min road trip to Lockhart, TX, the epicenter of what is Central Texas bbq which represents what people think of as Texas bbq. People do the taste test of Kreuz and Smittys to complete the trifecta. There's an Austin location as well about 10 minutes by car from Clarksville.

Lockhart has three great BBQ places near the square, each place is great, we love the side dishes at Black's.
