Downtown Houston has a plethora of experiences and parts of town to offer. I recommend the Galleria for shopping, Washington bar district or Main st bar district for night life, and any professional sporting events like Rockets (basketball), Astros (baseball), Texans (American football), or Dynamo (soccer).
