Great city park with playground, beach, lake path, sand volleyball court and lots of space to run around (or take a blanket and read a book). You can also fish. Dogs on leashes are welcome.

Walk to the other side of the Isthmus to get great Sunset views! The Isthmus is just about a mile and a half wide, and it's the center of Madison.

Great place to lie in the sun or shade, take a quick dip in the lake, play volleyball or even rent a canoe or kayak. There is a nice place structure for kids as well.
