You can walk to the Erie Canal path and then stroll or run over to this park with pretty bridges, playgrounds, and lots of space to run or play.

It's right next door! Genesee Valley Park has tons of bike trails, connects to the canal path, the Leigh High Valley Trail, and the Genesee Riverway Trail. This is also a great place to fly a kite, RC Plane, or watch commercial and private planes fly overhead. Along with Highland and Seneca Parks, Genesee Valley Park was designed by famed landscape architect Frederic Law Olmsted. Olmsted highlighted the the naturally occurring, rolling pastoral fields of the area when he planned the 800+ acre park. A favorite spot for golfers, crew teams, kayakers, and cross-country skiers, Genesee Valley Park is one of the oldest parks in the area.

A Fredrick Law Olmsted 800 acre park in City with 3 intersecting waterways; access to many hike/bike trails; baseball diamonds, soccer fields, a cricket pitch, 2-18 hole golf courses.
