Broadcast is a cool Sauchiehall Street hangout; proud owner of a banging roster of live gigs in Glasgow. From killer bands coming to town for one night only to seriously talented local music heroes, if you're looking to catch some cool and quirky live music, Broadcast is the place for it.

Broadcast is a bar and venue. It regularly has live bands playing. It also exhibits art from emerging Glasgow artists.

One of our favourite bars in Glasgow. Cheap drinks when it's not the weekend, unbelievable Korean bar food, and they have live music most nights of the week (you have to pay for entry to the music). Good for a lively night on the town.

As a music venue, Broadcast doesn’t have anything like the shoebox-sized buzz of its predecessor The Captains, and the sightlines are pretty terrible once there’s a sizeable crowd in (you may be reduced to watching the show on a fuzzy TV screen by the bar). But if you can squeeze down the front, this dark, low-ceilinged basement is great for up-close-and-personal encounters with the likes of The Amazing Snakeheads, Sleaford Mods and Young Fathers.
