Wonderful little beach for sunrise - loads of surfers, little kids to 'ou toppies', dogs everywhere, family vibes. If storms have washed up the kelp, can get a little messy...

Long Beach is on the Atlantic side so it is a lot colder than Fish Hoek Beach. The swell is big, so this a great surfing break. There is a beach break as well as a point break. It is also a great walking beach which stretches across the whole valley. Sleepy Hollow riding school offers horse riding along this beach.
