Building located at Teatralny Square 1 in Warsaw. The seat of the National Opera, as well as the Polish National Ballet, two of the three stages of the National Theater and the Theater Museum. The building was erected in the years 1825-1833. Destroyed in 1939 and 1944, it was rebuilt, transformed and enlarged in 1947–1965 while maintaining the original facade from Teatralny Square.

The Great Theatre - National Opera. At the moment of building (1st half of XIX century) the world's biggest opera house. Nowadays lively centre of classic and modern opera. Take every tram going west (to the other side of Vistula river) and get off at the 2nd stop Metro Ratusz Arsenal, then go 5 minutes south and on the left by Senatorska street to the Plac Teatralny.
