Ramen and hot chicken bao buns are a solid date night move in Nashville. Sarah Gavigan’s Gulch restaurant’s Tennessee tonkotsu is an iconic Nashville dish — prime for slurping side-by-side at the counter with your mate over a container of sake to share.
Our favorite ramen restaurant in Nashville! Order the hot chicken bao buns as an appetizer and Sapporo on draft or enjoy one of their unique cocktails.
Top notch Ramen... in Nashville! Chef Gavigan traveled the world to perfect this skill and trust me, it's perfect. Tennessee Tonkotsu and hot chicken bao buns!
If you like ramen go to Otaku! Not a huge menu so that everything they offer is delicious! Add Hot Chicken Buns to your order.
Hands down best (and most cost effective) ramen in the city Kind of hard to find and street parking only

“The ciders here are delicious. The outside area is usually packed at night but worth it. The food isn't something I would ever get. Just the drinks. ”

“Old Glory: One of Nashville's most popular speakeasys. The atmosphere is one of a kind. The drinks, amazing. Old Fashioneds, Manhattans or Martinis. A great place to catch an early drink or two before heading out on the town.”

“Previously housed across the street in a small re-purposed storage container, executive chef Matt Bolus’ Gulch restaurant upgraded to a much larger space with an expanded menu a few years back, and the vibe and menu are vastly different. Spicy braised pork belly and chestnut soup are standout winter time starters — then move on to a second course salad with miso Caesar dressing, and/or a duo of notable pastas. Cold weather mains include seared duck and sweet potatoes, and braised rabbit with ricotta gnudi. Post dinner, head downstairs to Gertie’s Bar to check out the city’s largest whiskey selection, and a seriously good old fashioned.”
