Bring along your golf clubs - the course is well worth visiting. Llanymynech Golf Course is situated atop Llanymynech Hill overlooking the villages of Llanymynech and Pant, approximately 9 miles from Welshpool, right on the Welsh/English border. From the course it is possible to view 12 of the old 'shire counties', including Shropshire, Cheshire, Flintshire and Denbighshire. The food and service is excellent.

If you play golf, give the club a call and they may let you play a round but up on the ridge there are some stunning views and walks even if you don't play golf

The only golf course in Europe where you can play in two different countries! Tee off in Wales, then putt in England... On a clear day there are views into 12 English and Welsh counties.
