My favorite BBQ in town just happens to be walking distance. Get there early if you want to get the good stuff before it runs out. Have a drink at the Corner Bar while you eat.

It’s hard to miss the bright red trailer outside Corner Bar in South Austin, serving simple, high quality meats. Pitmaster Daniel Brown serves what he calls “old school barbecue” where the goal is “to give people great food for a cheap price.” Pair the smoked meats plate with drinks from the bar. It runs from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Tuesday and Wednesday, and until 11 p.m. Thursday through Saturday.
