Bustling, atmospheric local brewery & pub in a former school offering tours, craft beers & more
Great local brewery located with several other locally-owned businesses in an old re-purposed elementary school. Fun space. Great beer. Long-standing brewery with philanthropic owners who care about the local area.
Best beer in town and located in an old school? This is a must stop for microbrewery aficionados!

“You may have passed this spot on the way to the AirBnB. It’s an old elementary school that’s been transformed into a brewery and community space. It’s home to Bristol Brewery and Pub, the Principal’s Office (hand-crafted cocktails and food), Axe and the Oak Whiskey (whiskey and bourbon house), and Yobel Market (ethically sourced/handmade artisanal gifts). Honestly, I’ve loved every cocktail and brewski I’ve had from Ivywild, but their food never seems to wow me (please don’t tell the principal). They have free wifi for those who want to work in a cool spot while you sip on a local brew.”

“A good friend of mine owns/operates the oldest restaurant in town, the very solid & popular Edelweiss German Restaurant. Great atmosphere, cool/hip area and an awesome beer garden/patio that will accommodate your dog and often have for music performances that accompany classic dishes like schnitzel. It's happy there and they are fast becoming one of the best dessert places in town; that's my favorite part. Ha! ”

“Probably my favorite brewery in the area. Cool scene and great beers. There is almost always a food truck there as well. Nice mountain views if you can get the right table outside. ”

“Red Rock Open Space has some pretty spectacular views. You can spend all afternoon hiking around in there. Our favorite loop is the Mesa Trail. It’s a longer trail, 4.5 miles. A shorter version is the Greenlee Trail.”
