Excellent brew-pub that has live music on Saturdays. The beer is fantastic, its cheap (by craft beer standards!) and the food menu is surprisingly good. Go with a group. Tip: There's another location uptown Waterloo as well.

Abe Erb is an uber local themed excellent microbrew pub. The beer and burgers are definitely worth the vist, and the staff and owners and staff support the community hugely! Stop in and say Hi

Micro-brewery + restaurant. Not the best service but in the summer with the garage door open it's quite nice for people watching. Their fish and chips is quite decent. Of course, with drinks, I'd go there during their happy hour but watch out when that ends. They won't tell you it has and you'd be surprised with the bill.
