Blue Grotto and it's splendid clear blue waters are a must see when visiting Malta. One can enjoy a boat ride leading up to the caves and a few bites and nibbles whilst letting the spectacular view sink in.

In the south, these caves are gorgeous in combination with crystal clear blue water. Advised to take a boat ride into the caves. How to get there: Take bus towards Valletta and then change to 74 to get out at Panorama bus stop just by Blue Grotto. Takes about 75 minutes in total.

The Blue Grotto is a complex of sea caves on the south coast of Malta. The main arch is spectacular, as are the caves' walls which reflect the colours of the underwater flora. Regular boat trips from here are the best means to soak in the beauty of this area.

On the coast of southwestern Malta, near the towns of Qrendi and Zurrieg, is the heralded natural wonder, the Blue Grotto. It is not just one, but a entire labyrinth of several sea caverns that provoke awe and wonder in all who see them. The caves were formed from gradual seawater erosion of the natural rock. The Blue Grotto is the largest in the cave complex and is one of the most iconic images of Malta.
