NORTHPORT At the very tip of the peninsula. Great views of Lake Michigan. A nice drive about 7 miles north of the Village. Stop along the way at an honor stand for some home made cookies or some fresh cherries!

This lighthouse defines to point where Lake Michigan and Grand Traverse Bay meet. At times it can be a little chilly here so bring a sweatshirt. You can go to the top of the lighthouse and explore the surrounding grounds. During the summer the lighthouse shows movies on certain evenings in case you want to sneak back one evening. Its an excellent place to see the northern lights.
