Created from the ruins of the Historical Traverse City State Hospital, this beautiful compound hosts a multitude of delicious restaurants, bakeries, local retailers, coffee shops, a brewery, and a winery! You will enjoy seeing all the shops in the lower levels, dating back many years, with attention to detail and authenticity. The Commons also has some fine restaurants! In the old State Hospital, The Commons is an imposing yet beautiful place to visit.

Do private tours of the 1800 state hospital. Lots of shopping and restaurants. Great grounds for walking trails.
