This log cabin is set in the woods in a rural part of northeastern Vermont. Escape the hustle and bustle, clear your mind, and enjoy nature. A great place to get some fresh air or to stay in and take a nap. Beautiful summers for easy hikes and refreshing swims in the lakes of our local Groton State Forest, unbelievable foliage to view from small dirt roads, and tons of outdoor winter activities. Great for a couples getaway, friends weekend, or some quality time with the kids. Pets welcome, too!
Come stay with Rose and Danny as we restore the barn on the Historic Kimball Dairy Farm built in 1850.. You will sleep in a bed from the original owners in a loft with exposed hand hewn beams and look out over woodlands and meadow. You can lounge on the patio which was once an old grain silo, sit around the fire dish, listen to the fountain in the koi pond, or chill on the covered deck. We have a brand new private shower and sink to wash up or do the dishes on the ground floor of the barn
You will love our gorgeous, circa 1830's Colonial with its unique character. Our home was historically the town Inn. It has 14 rooms with 6 bedrooms. There is generous space to move about, without losing that cozy atmosphere when it's time to cuddle up on our three season porch with a good book. Situated on 12-acres, with river frontage in a friendly Vermont community. Allows for several activities such as hiking, cross country skiing, or just relaxing by the river.
