Lona's is tucked away in the Fox Park neighborhood, away from any other retail/restaurants. And yet this fast-casual startup has attracted a large and very loyal following for its excellent unique Asian flavors. We are regulars, alternating between the giant rice paper wraps and the plates, or grabbing a seasonal noodle bowl. You'll be hard pressed to find these flavors anywhere else, but they are easy to love!

Our favorite multi-ethnic buffet! Everest is a Korean/Indian/Nepalese restaurant run by a great local family. This unique combination coupled with excellent recipes makes this one of our favorite spots, especially for the lunch buffet. Make sure you try the japchae (Korean sweet potato noodles), but be warned if you're a noodle lover... it might ruin everything else for you!

SOHA is a sports bar, but we're calling it a restaurant because, despite the massive drink menu (including a large on-tap selection), what we love most is the food... gourmet pizzas, wasabi tuna, creative salads, even bacon/Parmesan brussel sprouts haters will love! Plus the usual like wings and tasty burgers. And happy hour pricing on that food until 7p every day! This might be the best spot for your money in all of St. Louis.

UCBC was founded in 2010 and quickly became one of the biggest craft brewers in a highly competitive St. Louis market. Their remarkable growth made perfect sense... these guys are good at what they do! The result is the massive bierhall and brewery on Manchester and Taylor, just a few steps from the house! You'll love the huge open space with lots of seating and plenty of mingling. Pool and darts, burgers and wurst (food is actually excellent), and of course award-winning beer... all in a clean industrial/modern setting. Don't miss it!

Probably the closest full-service grocery store. Located in the middle of the bustling Central West End neighborhood, traffic for this store can be tough depending on the time of day. But then again there's lots of great restaurants and nightlife in the CWE!

People travel from all over just to shop at IKEA (we used to go to Chicago), but now you're just a couple of miles from one of the newest. The food court is great too!
