Mornings are usually quiet on the beach and there’s a nice walking/jogging trail. Watch for rip tide warnings if you want to swim out deep.

Beautiful area to walk out to the lighthouse and watch people surf and play beach volleyball. You can ride your bike along the lake too.

Deland park is close to the local restaurants and has a nice view of the Breakwater Lighthouse

Centrally located on the shores of Lake Michigan. Enjoy sandy beaches, ample green space and play areas, boat ramps, fish-cleaning station, pavilions and the Lakefront Trail. Restrooms available. It is a very large open grassy space w/a handful of picnic shelters, some tennis courts, and the wreck of the Lottie Cooper on the W-side along Broughton Drive. Deland Park is located at 715 Broughton Drive. 7 miles
