One of our favorite spots! This Greek Revival private library is a must-see for academics -- and has some Edgar Allen Poe ties.
The best library in Providence! Great children’s section. Historic building and books, nicest people.
Open since 1838, the Athenaeum is a library but so much more. The library is open to the public but you cannot take out any books without a membership. Their children's section is fantastic. There is so much art & history in this building---it really should be on your list of things to see in…
This is an amazing library built in 1838 in the heart of College Hill visited by Edgar Allan Poe. A must see.
