A must to call into this area to hug a giant OLD Growth Redwood, hikes along Prairie Creek and Roosevelt Elk viewing. Great Information may be gathered about local hiking trails from the visitors center

Prairie Creek Redwood Park is only 10 miles south off Hwy 101 and is a must see while you are with us! Great folks at the visitor center there, be sure to stop in :)

On your way into the park, you can stop by the small visitor center to get trail recommendations.

Our favorite place to see Humboldt's 'other tall green plants'. Trail starts at the visitor center. Go towards the 'minors Ridge/James Irvine" trail. Even if you hike only .5 mile, its awesome!
