2 homers easy trekking to arrive at the begin of the biggest European canyon. 30 minus by car to arrive at the starting point. No bar on the way, you should have food and drink.

The Gorropu gorge (in Sardinian the term gorropu means "gorge" and the same prefix indicates it, as well as in English and French with the term "gorge") is a deep canyon located in Supramonte, Sardinia, and marks the border between the municipalities of Orgosolo and Urzulei. The gorge originated thanks to the intense erosive action caused by the waters of the Rio Flumineddu. The Gorropu Gorge, with its over 500 m of height and a width that varies from 4 meters in the narrowest points to reach a few dozen in others, is considered the deepest canyon in Italy and one of the deepest in Europe.
