For a step up from your inexpensive/basic public BCycle access, there’s the neighborhood bicycle shop near Shelby Park (where you’ll want to be riding anyway) with some great people/service. Demo some nice rides (incl electric if avail), but make sure you make reservations if the weather looks nice!
