There’s a place in Milan where vintage lovers can find their heaven. Its name is East Market and it takes place two Sundays a month in Lambrate, the eastern area of the city. East Market has chosen an old abandoned factory dating back to the World War II, in the heart of the Design District of Lambrate, (in Via Ventura 14) as location. From a few years, this area has been animated by designers and creatives, especially during Milan Design week, when Via Ventura itself becomes a laboratory of ideas, including installations, performances and events. Among art galleries, designer’s loft and artist’s studios, East Market fits perfectly. But this is not the classic Italian sunday vintage market.

Once a month (check the facebook page) the ex-industrial area of Mecenate is transformed in a hipster-markets with lots of vintage stuff and handmade clothes and accessoires.
