If you are a foreigner, it is worth missing a day among its many and varied stands of local crafts. Very cheap and unique to decorate a barbecue table, mates, picnics, campsites, etc. You can also find typical elements of gaucho decoration and low price furniture. If your are looking to buy mimbre baskets, this is the place to go. ;) Its also a colorful market with a few places to eat. A new Havana Cafe opened by the river. Avoid weekends. Gets crowded.
