West Yellowstone is the closest entrance to Yellowstone National Park with access to Norris Geyser Basin, Mammoth Hot Springs, Firehole Basin, Old Faithful and the remainder of the park.

For those of y'all taking a day trip to Yellowstone, I can't recommend enough starting at the West Entrance and making your way up to the North Entrance. The drive down through Big Sky into West Yellowstone is absolutely beautiful and not one to be missed.
