You feel like you've had chicken and potatoes just about every possible way, right? Wrong. I couldn't believe how delicious they prepared even the simplest of ingredients. Take that, and add on top a really beautiful courtyard, fantastic handmade tortillas, and an oven-made experience right in front of your eyes, and you get an authentic and unforgettable experience.

El Rincón Típico is a very visited restaurant in Antigua Guatemala, which is located a few steps from the La Unión Tank. It stands out for the quality of its traditional Guatemalan food, with a home flavor.

Famed for its lunchtime rotisserie chicken and potato salad. Usually a little busy but always delicious. Also worth checking out their cheap and traditional breakfasts. $
