State Bird Provisions is a dim sum-style Michelin Star restaurant with seasonal Californian cooking. It was recently written up as "The cheapest eatery in the United States to boast a Michelin star, where a three-course meal will set you back $45."

Not in the 'hood but it's really good. Was named best restaurant of the year by either Food & Wine or Saveur Magazine.
