Flathead Lake is the land locked ocean of the Northwest!! Enjoy fishing, sailing, kayaking, paddle boarding, swimming, camping at the edge, etc. So worth visiting Kalispell!

There is a large history that goes along with Wildhorse Island, stemming back from the height of the Salish and Kootenai Tribes that inhabited the Flathead Valley. If you have the time, I greatly urge you to take a tour to the island.
