In 2010, Sante bought Ports of Italy in Boothbay Harbor, Maine and stepped away from the fast-paced New York lifestyle to pursue his new project. Along with his chef Fabrizio Ventricini, serve authentic Italian dishes – focusing on the simplicity of each dish, while surprising guests with all the bold yet perfectly mixed flavors in every bite. Dining inside or out. Loved the mussels. The owner is a bit grouchy but the food is very good.
