First time Neukölln: then the former Airfield Tempelhof is a must! In summer go there to the eastern corner with a drink and enjoy the sundown and small „Berlin skyline“

The in 2008 closed airport has been reconverted to a park. Worth a visit, especially with a rental bike! Other entrances at Tempelhofer Damm and Schillerkiez.

A decommissioned airport that has since been converted into a recreation area. A huge open space in the middle of Berlin. Perfect for long walks, cycling, inline skating or to grill or just to relax.
