Meridian Hill Park (also known as Malcolm X Park among locals) is a pretty, urban park - great for a picnic or a stroll. On Sunday afternoons in the spring and summer, be sure to check out the drum circle, a local must-see where you'll hear some talented local musicians and catch some of the best people watching in the city.

Beautiful park in the city. Take a blanket and some food and enjoy the view. On Sunday’s, locals get together for the drum circle and play music.

Such a chill vibe here. Bring some wine and a picnic from Trader Joe’s. On Sundays from 5-8 there is a great drum circle— you can’t miss it.

Lovely park on a hill with a view down on to DC. Drum circle on Sundays is fun! Often overlooked gem.
