This is a small walk of under a mile, but the walk around Lydney Docks is full of things to see from a Grade II listed swing bridge to the pier. It is easy walking and walking down to the Severn River you can see lots of seabirds and local wildlife. There is a handy car park too, dog friendly.

A hidden gem in the Forest of Dean- providing a lovely walk alongside the river severn with great views. Earmarked for a huge redevelopment program, take a look before it is discovered by the masses. Development has just started with a little cafe and an art trail along the riverside walk.
