A great family activity during snowy days in Fort Collins is sledding. There are several amazing sledding hills around Fort Collins that can provide fun for all ages. Pineridge Natural Area (in designated area) Directions: County Rd 42C, Fort Collins, CO 80526

You can take the Cathy Fromme Prairie trail right across the street, and make your way west to this trail, via bike or foot. Or, for a 5-6 minute drive, take Horsetooth west till it dead ends...you can park by the dog park and access this trail there, or stay on pavement on any of the trails accessed there...lots of parks, too.
