A great place to spend half a day. Calm waters in the bay leading into deeper river waters and then merging into the waves. Popular with swimmers and SUP boarders. Lots of shady spots and areas both sides of the river. On the North side it backs onto a great bush walk around the Burleigh Headland to Burleigh Heads beach.
