Very close to the cabin, but the road to get there isn't well maintained, 4WD recommended. Go right out of driveway, left on on Henderson, Left on Wil Kumlin, Left after the boats, and follow signs to state natural area parking lot. Walk around the gate onto a ridge trail with river and prairie views.
