Um dos locais mais carismáticos é que a bebi foi no entanto taberna da Poncha na Serra de Água. Fica na estrada que sobe da Ribeira Brava para a Encomeada e para além das cascas de amendoim pelo chão, é decorada com cartões de visita que forram as suas paredes. Tenha em atenção no entanto que, se beber, não conduza. A estrada é perigosa!

One of the most famous places to taste the traditional "poncha"even though it is not my favourite. Nowadays there are already many places making good ponchas but I would recommend : Poncha Rancho do Vale (a pink building at the roundabout before the tunnel to São Vicente). The owner makes the poncha on that moment and it may take time, but the taste is worth it. My favourite there and the original one is just made of lemon.
