Lions Lookout is a scenic lookout overlooking Huntsville. There are trails for walking around the area and along the water front.

15 min drive - Scenic Lookout. Lookout Rd, Huntsville, ON P1H 1R1 The lookout is essentially a rocky cliff/hill a short drive from downtown. From the top, you get sweeping views of the lake (Fairy Lake) as well as multiple vantage points over the centre of town. There are even historical information plaques that you can read to learn more about what you are looking at. To get up there, it’s a short drive from downtown and close to the Heritage Place Train Station. Look for Lookout Road, and follow the steep road up. There are numerous parking spots at the top but we can imagine it filling up in the summer or fall. There is also a parking lot when you turn to go up Lookout Road where people parked to hike up (it would take about 10/15 minutes).

Excellent view of Huntsville with easy access. One of my go to spots with visitors.

A view of the entire city of Huntsville with a beautiful backdrop for a family photo. No entrance Fee. You can drive all the way up with your car! Picnic tables and parking available.
