Places that you can still consider as an entrance to the national park are Vranjine and Rijeka Crnojevića, but in Virpazar you have the most choices if you want to explore the national park. By car: the easiest way to get to Lake Skadar is by car. Podgorica - Virpazar 29 km and 30 to 35 minutes drive. By train: Trains depart 5-10 times a day, tickets are cheap, costing only a few euros. The Virpazar train station is 800 meters from the entrance to the national park. Arriving by train is an option you should consider if you don't have a car. When you buy a ticket, ask for a ticket to Virpazar, never to Shkodra, so that they don't mishear you and think that you want to travel to Shkodër in Albania. ADVICE: On the bus, tell the driver that you are going to the Skadar Lake National Park and ask him to stop near the entrance so that you don't have to walk an additional 800 meters from Virpazar.
