A short 5 minute walk to Truckee Creamery for home made ice cream and coffee. In the summer, there is a great outdoor space with lawn games.

Don't miss a chance to pick up a scoop down the street on the lake at this adorable local ice cream shop. "Truckee Trails" is a popular flavor along with their taco pop ups which are a lot of fun. Great patio and friendly staff.

This is the place to get ice cream in the Truckee area. Just across from Donner lake, its a perfect place to sample the locally made ice cream, and just down the road from Soda Springs.

Consistently rated best ice cream in Truckee. Just one mile away so you can burn some of those calories if you choose to walk. You can grab ice cream to eat there or take a pint (or 2 or 3) home. Yummy! They also host taco nights on a limited basis. Call or check website ahead for seasonal hours.
