MARTINHAL beach: Nice beach to go during the morning. Usually no waves. In the afternoon is usually windy and you are able to windsurf in the summer

Martinhal is a beautiful beach with a great tropical vibe lying in a bay close to Sagres. There is always a good breeze which makes it enjoyable also on very hot days. The water is calm most of the time and has an intense tropical colour due to the white sands. Water is easy accessible and you can choose between 2 nice restaurants. We prefer the one a bit down the dirt road, staff is really friendly there. This is one of the few windsurfing spots in the Lagos area and it’s fun to watch these guys swishing over the water. You can rent kayaks, surfboards and pedal boats with slides there, which is also great fun. A great beach for families!
