Unique national park where you can hike through the ancient rockformations, of what once was one of the biggest waterfalls of our beautiful river. The river which runned dry caused by human sabotage. Besides of this unique environment, the history behind it is as interesting as well.

1796 tömdes Ragundasjön och en förödande flodvåg forsade fram. På endast fyra timmar förändrades landskapet och vattenfallet Storforsen tystnade och blev Döda Fallet. Idag är det ett välbesökt och omtyckt utflyktsmål.
