Beautiful stately home set in beautiful grounds. Great for walkers. There is a great cafe where people can enjoy a glass of wine, afternoon tea or Sunday lunch

Plan a full day out at Burghley near Stamford. Start your visit in the old Brewhouse with an audio visual introduction to this magnificent Elizabethan house, admire the fine state rooms and the treasures. Outside, walk in the deer park and explore the Gardens of Surprises incorporating the Sculpture Garden and the water garden and fountains. Family house and garden tickets are for 2 adults and 3 children, a lower priced ’Garden only’ ticket is offered, both available on the website. Admission to the parkland is free and all year round apart from on event days.
